Letters of invitation
A letter of invitation is one of the documents needed when applying for a visa. On request, such letters will be issued to authors and presenters of accepted papers, presentations, and posters, and equally to keynote speakers, trainers, chairpersons, and delegates of the XIX Congress of the European Association of Agricultural Economists (EAAE2027), once their registration and payment have been finalised. Only after registration and payment are complete can a letter of invitation be requested. The letter allows participants to secure a visa covering the dates of the EAAE2027 Congress.
Emergencies
Please note that the organiser does not arrange medical, travel, or personal insurance of any kind. Any medical costs arising during your stay in Croatia are your own responsibility.
For this reason, we strongly encourage every participant to take out an insurance policy that covers medical treatment both in Croatia and anywhere else visited during the trip. Anyone applying for an entry visa will additionally need to provide evidence of medical cover. Citizens of EU countries are advised to bring their European Health Insurance Card.
The organiser accepts no responsibility for any damage or loss of any nature sustained by participants, or by those accompanying them, in the course of official events.
Electricity
The mains supply in Croatia runs at 220 volts. Sockets are Type F and take the standard European plug with two round pins.
Currency
Croatia’s official currency is the euro. Visa and MasterCard are widely accepted across shops, hotels, and restaurants.
